Although it started at the IP layer, disaggregation has grown in popularity and appeal across transport networks. This white paper presents the results of a Heavy Reading global operator survey sponsored by the Telecom Infra Project and some of its members, including Infinera, and provides the industry’s most in-depth look at the current state and future trajectory of open and disaggregated transport networks.
