800G+ Long-haul and Submarine Networks
Our fifth-generation coherent optical engine, ICE6, is enabling long-haul networks to deliver 800G+ wavelengths over almost a thousand kilometers while pushing 400G wavelengths almost everywhere. ICE6 is also bringing advanced functionality and leading optical performance to submarine networks, pushing the boundaries of submarine cable design to deliver colossal levels of bandwidth over trans-Atlantic and trans-Pacific distances.
400G Metro Networks
We are bringing 400G pluggable coherent optics to the metro network while also reimagining its architecture for the future with third-generation Nyquist digital subcarrier technology called XR optics. With advanced system level features and support for both point-to-point and point-to-multipoint architectures, XR optics brings revolutionary transformation to one of the fastest growing segments of the network – the metro.
100G Access and Aggregation
And we are pushing coherent optics closer to the access edge than ever before with 100G pluggables that can dynamically increase capacity in 25G increments. Direct-detect pluggable technology simply cannot scale to meet future capacity demands at the edge of the network. We believe that 100G pluggable XR optics that can aggregate into 400G XR optics all in the optical domain is the answer.
