ICE6 Breaks Records on MAREA Cable System
Infinera's ICE6 optical engine already leads the industry in terrestrial reach at its headline data rate of 800 Gb/s, and our recent submarine network field trial over the MAREA trans-Atlantic cable has extended its technology leadership with two industry firsts: 30 Tb/s of trans-Atlantic capacity on a single fiber pair and a 700 Gb/s data rate per wavelength.
