At Eurofiber, we are proud of our robust, meshed and highly reliable fiber optic network infrastructure. Built as a next-generation network with flexibility and reliability, our customers don’t have to worry about their bandwidth requirements; instead, they can focus on business growth and innovation. Today, Eurofiber’s footprint offers national coverage in the Netherlands and Belgium, extending to Germany across 28,000 kilometers (km). It delivers state-of-the-art fiber capabilities to more than 12,000 locations and is continually being expanded. It is with the help of innovative companies like Infinera that we can easily and effectively scale to meet customer demands and offer high performance services for new addressable markets.
We recently deployed Infinera’s DTN-X XTC-2 platform to upgrade our national DWDM network, providing our customers unprecedented bandwidth capacity. The XTC-2 allows us to provide a highly reliable customer experience. With this upgrade, we now use an end-to-end Infinera Intelligent Transport Network, enabling faster service turn-up and expanding optical transmission capacity up to five times current capacity.
Infinera’s continued technology innovation and the dedicated service support were the driving factors in our selection of the XTC-2 platform for our metro network.
As we grow our network, we will continue to work with cutting-edge companies like Infinera to provide the ideal solution to enable us to better serve our customers.
