QuickSwitch™ is a proven professional service offering that allows Infinera customers to rapidly migrate their existing DWDM network traffic quickly with minimal effort and minimal downtime significantly reducing the impact on the end customer. The key elements of QuickSwitch include:

• Rapid, turnkey network installation, taking advantage of Infinera's PIC-powered architecture to deliver network rollouts in one quarter to one third of the time required by conventional DWDM.
• Traffic migration, taking advantage Infinera's built-in switching and software intelligence to roll customer traffic to the new Infinera network with minimal downtime.
• Infinera's product architecture supports simple migration even when no additional fiber pairs are available.
• Legacy de-commissioning service, whereby Infinera takes responsibility for de-commissioning and pack-up of legacy gear.
• Network management integration, easing the operational transition to a new vendor.
• Infinera's strategy does not require the service provider to lease additional fiber pairs during the migration phase and offers a continuous set of fallback options at each stage to reduce risk.
