Part of the pride we take in our work at Infinera is reflected in the numerous awards that our company and its employees have received. In addition to recognizing the achievements of our company, they bolster our resolve to continue delivering exceptional products and technological innovations on an ongoing and increasing basis.
In 2008, Infinera was proud to receive the NXTcom08 Eos Award in Recognition of Infinera's commitment to excellence in the advancement of technology for network-enabled voice, video and data.
The NXTcom Eos award is given each year to a company that has "developed the most promising new technologies or provided the best new network services, strategic support and ongoing achievement[s]." (NXTcom, 2008). For Infinera, winning this award further legitimized our presence in the optical networking industry. It also served to strengthen our resolve to continuously commit ourselves to surpassing expectations, whether they are industry-wide or within Infinera's walls.
Over the years, we've been proud of our many accomplishments, and have received a great deal of recognition for our achievements, including:

- Aron Kressel LEOS Award, 2006 The annual Aron Kressel LEOS Award recognizes important contributions to opto-electronic device technology, with an emphasis on "technology which has found its way into widespread usage," according to LEOS. LEOS, the Laser and Electro-Optical Society, is a division of the IEEE, the organization that promotes electrical engineering worldwide.
